Looping

My teammate, Mrs. Walker, and I have decided to embark on a new adventure together.  We will begin to loop between 1st and 2nd grades.  Mrs. Walker will be moving with last year's 1st graders up to 2nd grade this year.  I will teach 1st grade this year and will stay with my class and move to 2nd grade next year.

I am really excited about this new adventure.  I have researched the advantages of staying with a group of students for more than one year.  I am looking forward to experiencing these benefits first hand.
